About 70 of us were laid off today. I’m a little out of it right now. Everything seems a bit surreal. I’m kind of happy because although I liked the job itself, I really couldn’t stand the office politics and upper management bullshit. I’ve been there for 4 years and am surprised I lasted that long. We were given 8 weeks notice so our employment ends on March 4th. I have about 6 weeks to figure out what I’m going to be doing in terms of either looking for a job or creating one of my own.

I’m not sure…I think I’ll sit with it for awhile and see what feels best. I need to try and keep the stress at a minimum as I know this is one major cause of my sugar levels increasing. So I’ll give myself Reiki, walk lots and meditate. I can’t let this get me off track in terms of my diet and my attempt to reverse my Type 2 Diabetes.

I’ll be taking a few days off from posting here as I’m needing to just care for myself for a bit…but I’ll be back (said in my best Arnie voice).
